GMC is reinventing its iconic truck and unveiling the first ever all-electric Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 (expected availability summer 2024), the third all-electric truck in GMC’s lineup of EV vehicles. The Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 offers the confident, strong look you’d expect from a GMC truck — but with a new technical and modern look. GMC is debuting a clean, fresh, striking exterior and interior design that emphasizes the technology and craftsmanship of the truck.

On the exterior, the Sierra EV Denali has been given a redefined look. From grille to gate, the new body construction creates a more expressive form, starting with the reimagined grille that serves as a confident shield and houses the eTrunk™. The Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 showcases modern finishes such as gloss black accents, an illuminated perimeter shield, lit GMC front badging, and unique lighting with animated choreography that signals when the vehicle is charging.

The interior of the Sierra EV Denali has also been completely reimagined with a modern, strong design refined in materials and execution, including unique geometric quilting and horizontal cross-car lines that emphasize spaciousness and luxury.

The Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 is capable of 440 miles* of range. When it’s time to charge up, Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 also has 350-kW DC fast-charging* capabilities, allowing you to charge up to 100 miles of range in approximately 10 minutes.

Turn your truck into a generator whenever you need on-demand power. With the accessory power bar, the Sierra EV Denali offers an available 10.2kW of off-boarding power with up to 10 power outlets with both 240V and 120V options. That’s enough juice to power accessories, electronics and power tools.

During power outages, the battery platform in your Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 can power your home’s essential devices and services, when properly equipped, for up to 21 days.*

It wouldn’t be a Sierra Denali without a top-of-the-line interior experience. The Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 is no exception, ringing in a new era of luxury.

The interior consists of premium and authentic materials throughout. The Sierra EV Denali Edition 1’s new quilted high-performance seating material, CoreTec, is custom engineered to offer improved durability and stain resistance while still providing the comfort and luxury drivers expect from a GMC truck. The interior also features authentic engineered bass wood and elegant Galvano chrome finishes to accent the all-black Denali interior.

The luxury and comfort go beyond the materials inside the vehicle. The Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 offers Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, which can bring the vehicle to optimal ride height and provide a confidence-inspiring and comfortable ride when fully loaded or unloaded.

Drivers can have even more control over the driving experience thanks to several driving modes. These various modes allow you to personalize your experience and offer unique optimizations based on various driving conditions such as off-roading or towing. From "Normal" mode to "Tow / Haul" to "Off-road" and “Max Power Mode” offering thrilling EV torque allowing the Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 to reach 0–60mph in 4.5 seconds. There’s even a customizable "My Mode," drivers can adjust steering, suspension, propulsion sound and power settings, tailoring to the driving conditions.

Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 offers a panoramic fixed glass roof that stretches across the entire cabin, creating a sense of open-air ambiance and increasing interior headroom. The glass is tinted and features ultraviolet and infrared coatings to help keep the cabin comfortable.

A first for Sierra — the Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 is equipped with the MultiPro™ MidGate. This innovative cargo solution created a truck bed that can extend up to 10' 10"* long when used with the load stop function thanks to rear seats that can fold into the floor and removable back glass windows.

Adding to the versatility of the Sierra EV Denali Edition 1, the eTrunk™ is a lockable weatherproof compartment in the front of the truck that offers 11 cubic feet* of additional secured storage when traveling, camping or spending a day at the beach.

A first for Sierra, 4-wheel steering enables CrabWalk™*, a GMC-exclusive diagonal drive feature that was first introduced on the HUMMER EV. At low speeds, CrabWalk turns the rear wheels at the same angle as the front wheels, allowing diagonal movement of the vehicle. When taking a corner at low speeds, you’ll feel the tighter turning circle as the rear wheels turn in the opposite direction of the front wheels. This means this truck can confidently navigate tighter situations. At higher speeds, the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front, providing more control, smoother lane changes, and improved handling and stability.

You’ll immediately be drawn to the massive, tablet-style 16.8" diagonal center touch screen when you get in the truck. This infotainment center offers a customizable experience with icons that can be organized to your preference. This large screen can also be split into three different displays simultaneously and includes physical buttons and a center knob for ease of use.

In addition, the cabin of the Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 also features a 14" diagonal multicolor Head-Up Display, an 11" diagonal reconfigurable driver information panel. Together, these displays offer the driver a seamless experience when driving.
